EVENT NOTICE

"Star Wala Series Presents: A Night With 53A" is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 23^rd October 2021. Please note the following essential information that you will need to plan for prior to the concert:

Ticket sales for the event will be subjected to prevailing Safe Management Measures (SMMs).

All attendees of the LIVE performance is required to undergo Pre-Event Testing (PET) unless:

they have not completed the full regimen of vaccines on the World Health Organization’s Emergency Use Listing (WHO EUL); or

they have valid exemptions as stipulated by the Singapore government.

For more details on the exemptions please refer to our PET FAQs.

The PET must be taken from a Ministry of Health (MOH) approved vendor. Please obtain your PET from the list of approved test providers here.

The ticket price is not inclusive of PET. The validity of the PET is 24 hours from the time of registration at the testing premise and before the end of your attendance of the event. Only patrons with a PET within the period of validity can attend the event.

You will need to produce any one of the following ‘Acceptable Documents’ together with your original Government-issued photo identification (e.g. NRIC and/or Passport) for verification to gain entry to the venue:

Valid vaccination status on SafeEntry (Business) App; or

Valid “cleared” test status on SafeEntry (Business) App; or

PET Exemption Notice issued by a MOH-approved COVID-19 test provider; or

Discharge Memo with the first PCR date indicated and issued by MOH.

53A a name synonymous with live music, and a headline band of the vibrant local music scene for more than a decade. The band’s pitch-perfect vocals, accompanied by their technically sound instrumentation and musicality, has propelled them to be one of the most recognised local bands. The band started off as a talented jazz duo of Sara and Alvin, and has since grown to be a five piece musical experience. From their jazz roots, they also encompass genres such as top 40s pop and rock. The band released an album, Settle The Kettle. They perform not only at live music venues, but also on the big stages for many music events.

53A is fronted by the beautiful voice of Sara Wee, lead guitarist Alvin Khoo, vocalist and bassist Bani Hidir, the backbone of the band, drummer Helman Kamal, and their most recent addition, vocal powerhouse and talented keyboardist Lisa Haryono. The aggregation of their professional experience and infectious personalities has resulted in a distinct 53A charm, which has made the band a hot favourite at ‘live’ music venues across the island. 53A‘s original album ‘Settle The Kettle‘ debuted in 2010 and received positive reviews in TODAY, The Business Times and TIME Magazine.

Their biggest accolade till date, is being the feature act for the National Day Parade 2016 – SG51. The band performed their signature NDP Medley and the 2016 NDP Theme Song, “Tomorrow’s Here Today”.

For the safety of everyone, please observe the following Safe Management Measures (SMM):

All attendees are required to do SafeEntry check-in via the TraceTogether App/Token to record their entry and verify their vaccination status. Attendees with unsuccessful check-in will be denied entry.
Wear a mask throughout the performance.
Do not gather in a group that exceeds more than 5 people (in line with national guidelines on group size). Mixing and physical interaction between different groups (5 per group) are not allowed and will be reminded by the frontline staff when sighted.
Always maintain social distancing of at least 1 meter from others.
Singing along, standing and dancing is not allowed during the performance in accordance to current NAC’s COVID-19 advisory.
All food and beverages are to be consumed at the F&B Consumption Area only.
If you are unwell, do not attend the event.
Person(s) with fever or displaying respiratory symptoms such as cough or runny nose or shortness of breath will be refused entry and advised to seek medical attention.
Kindly adhere to the advice of the frontline staff (crews, ushers and safe distancing ambassadors) on ground.
