Filled with joy, laughter, distress and tears, the journey to parenthood is a life-changing one that requires conscientious planning and preparation.
The seminar, in its second edition this year, was last held in November. It aims to prepare new parents with the knowledge to be ready for any baby situation.
Details that will be shared include how umbilical cord blood can be stored in a bank and used to treat life-threatening diseases such as cancer later in life, instead of being discarded.
Five medical experts, including doctors from Mount Elizabeth Hospital, will share tips on a range of topics, including pregnancy after age 30, infantcare, breastfeeding, prenatal and postnatal nutrition, and umbilical cord blood and cord lining banking.
