Update on COVID-19 – 12 Feb 2020
At The Star Performing Arts Centre (The Star PAC), the well-being of our patrons and staff is our utmost priority. Due to the current COVID-19 outbreak, we have implemented precautionary measures as part of our pandemic response plan.
With the latest Ministry of Health’s decision to raise its DORSCON level from yellow to orange, temperature screening is now required. Our mass temperature screening system will be deployed at our venues and a secondary screening will be conducted on individuals suspected to have a fever. The Star PAC reserves the right to refuse entry to any person having a fever or showing signs of illness such as persistent coughing and runny noses. Contact information will be obtained from those who are turned away.
Further measures include installations of hand sanitizers at key entry locations and a thorough disinfection of our facilities will be done before and after each event. We will also be increasing the frequency of cleaning of areas with high contact points, such as our toilets, lifts and handrails.
We are closely monitoring the COVID-19–related developments and will implement further measures as introduced by the Ministry of Health from time to time.
We seek your kind understanding and cooperation.
