AEG Presents is thrilled to announce that Irish singer and songwriter, Niall Horan is bringing his Flicker World Tour 2018 to Singapore on Tuesday, 12 June 2018 at The Star Theatre.
Horan unveiled the album’s cover and new single, “Too Much To Ask” prior to the 20th October release of his debut album, Flicker (Capitol Records). The single was one of the first songs he penned for the album, which he began working on last year. He co-wrote the track with long-time collaborator, Jamie Scott. Produced by Greg Kurstin, who also produced debut single “This Town”, “Too Much To Ask” is available for download and streaming here.
Horan is currently in the midst of his Flicker Sessions 2017 Tour, which was sold out in minutes. Having visited Dublin, London, Stockholm, Sydney, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Rio de Janeiro, he will next head to Philadelphia to kick off the North American leg of his tour on 29th October in The Fillmore Philadelphia. This will include a 31st October show at New York City’s intimate Beacon Theatre and finish at The Masonic, San Francisco on 22nd November.
Horan, who has sold over 70 million records as part of the all-conquering One Direction, launched his solo career with the singles “This Town” and “Slow Hands”, both of which have gone on to achieve platinum certification globally.
“Slow Hands” went straight to No. 1 in 44 countries, achieved Billboard’s “Best Songs of 2017 So Far”, and now holds over 820 million combined streams worldwide. This year, Horan has won the People’s Choice for Favourite Breakout Artist, Teen Choice for Choice Single: Male Artist and Radio Disney Music for Best Male Artist.
